Born in Urbana, OH, the daughter of Golf Course Architect Roy Anderson Dye and niece to Golf Course Architect Pete Dye, I grew up learning the fundamentals of traditional golf course design.  At a young age, I would spend time after school at the Dye office coloring maps and hand drawing golf course layouts.             After studying Landscape Architecture at ASU, I began my career designing landscapes for commercial and residential buildings in Phoenix, Arizona.  In 1988 I became a full-time design consultant in the family business. For the better part of 11 years, I worked as a design consultant for my cousin Perry  Dye, Uncle Pete Dye and both of my brothers Matt and Andy Dye throughout the world.           In 2001, having ‘earned my stripes’, I started my own golf course design company, Dye Designs Group, to begin implementing my signature version of the family design philosophy.  My five children aside, the growth of my own golf courses from an idea on paper to a challenging piece of land, have been my single most gratifying experiences.  I have practiced all my life ‘To promote and serve the game of golf’.
